Katie Green - Mary Poppins

Katie is thrilled to be a part of The Show Company's production of Mary Poppins. She is currently training vocally under the guidance of renowned singer and teacher Jane Edwards and studying acting with Craig Irons. Katie is in her second year studying a Bachelor of Music part time at the UTAS Conservatorium of Music, majoring in voice. She gained her Certificate IV in Contemporary Dance in 2014 with TasTAFE and the Salamanca Arts Centre SPACE program, and also studied tap and jazz with Angela Ireson. For six years she was a proud member of the Musical Theatre Crew, where she now teaches. Katie has previously performed with The Show Company as Nessarose in the Hobart premiere of Wicked, which won five Tasmanian Theatre Awards. More recently, she has appeared in Bijou Creative's productions of Heathers: The Musical as Heather Chandler and Chicago. Other performance credits include the Bakers Wife in Into the Woods, Miss Adelaide in Guys and Dolls, Erma in Anything Goes, Hairspray, Fame – The Musical (Crew), The Addams Family, The Wedding Singer, Jesus Christ Superstar, The Drowsy Chaperone (Old Nick), The Wiz, Grease, Crazy for You (St Mary’s College) and the 2014 Hobart Rep children's pantomime. Katie is looking forward to bringing this magical story to life alongside a talented cast and creative team.

Campbell Braithwaite - Bert

Campbell currently studies voice with Jane Edwards and has danced for 12 years under the guidance of Michelle Williams at the House of Dance, where he was awarded Dux of the school in 2015. He is also a member of the Tasmanian Youth Classical Ballet Company, which was established in 2015 under the artistic direction of Shayne Davies, and works as a tutor at ExitLeft Performance Academy. During his time at The Hutchins School, Campbell studied drama with Michelle Weeding and received several drama prizes including the Diana Large Memorial Award at the Hobart Eisteddfod for two consecutive years. He developed his musical theatre skills though the Musical Theatre Crew, sharing the Senior Scholarship with Katie Green in 2014 and performing roles in several Crew productions including Anything Goes, Hairspray and Fame – The Musical. His other theatrical appearances include Forbidden Broadway (Hobart Rep), Jesus Christ Superstar (Old Nick) and productions of The Wedding Singer, Downtown and Spamalot. Earlier in 2017 Campbell made his Theatre Royal debut in The Show Company’s production of Wicked, performing the role of Chistery and also appearing in the Ensemble. He is excited to be playing Bert in this magical production of Mary Poppins.
